Ok before I wallow any further, here’s an entry I’ve been meaning to post for a long time now. My friends and I went to Bohol last October and it was a grand a vacation for me. No worrying about work, just pure fun fun fun

I had the time to browse through my old blog. As I was reading these lines, I can’t help but agree with my twenty three year old self:
“More than anything, 2007 taught me the idea of not being afraid to love greatly and be loved above anyone in return. That when asked why I love this person, I just shrug and give a smile because there are no words to really explain it or I could give a million reasons why and still give a million reasons more. A love that is defined by real friendship. The kind of love that inspired me to be better and that I know I’ll stay that same good person for a lifetime because other than myself, someone believed I am. A love that sees through everything, even pain. I know and I feel that I made this person happy and important. I also know that he’s become a better person because of me and that is called an achievement. I have no regrets for this kind of love.”

Nika, Tei and I got together last Friday to catch up and eat free food! Hee! Nika got an invite from Hizon’s for a food tasting event in Makati. There were long lines for different entrees but it was all worth it. It was all yummy! I wasn’t able to take photos because food were almost gone. Sarap to the bones! Meanwhile, here are our photos from Friday night.

This is actually a late post, as usual. Hehe. I attended a 3-day IT event in Davao last July 2-4. After the event, I hung out with Mark and Ems and we explored the city the whole day, Sunday. I’m not finished looking at the photos yet so I won’t be able to upload much today. Actually, I only have just one post processed photo which you can see below.
This was taken by Ems at the Eden Nature Park.

For sometime now, I’ve been thinking of what kind of jewelry to wear with my gown. I thought of making a beaded necklace and I think it would be nice but I have something really old that I want to wear. The necklace is over ninety years old. It was my grandmother’s and her mother gave it to her when she was I think eight years old. When I was still young, my lola showed me the necklace and told me how old it was and that she’d like me to keep it. I rarely wear the jewelry, maybe once or twice. I’m just in awe every time I look at it and it reminds me of lola.

The background is a photo of my great great grandparents, Anastacia and Andrea.

About the wedding, we purchased these over the weekend.
My shoes were bought by my friend, Kat so I can make use of VNC’s promo buy 2 and get the 3rd for 50 percent off. I love my shoes, though Kat, my designer doesn’t really approve of it. Hehe. Mark also got his pair because Wade is on sale. We’re glad to cross this one off the wedding list. A few more to go.

I wonder if I made the right title for this entry. Hehe. My highschool friends and I met up last Sunday to accomplish a shoot for Shano’s clothes and my accessory line.
We initially wanted to shoot at Cubao X then opted to move it to Crisel’s place and finally while we were walking towards Aurora Boulevard, we decided why not shoot in Stella.
It was a great idea, actually. We love our school even if so many things have changed. A lot of high school memories greeted us. It wasn’t even hard to ask permission from the guard which was the best thing. We were able to roam around and shoot. It was nice to come back especially because I were with great friends. I love the pancit canton and the spanish bread too and of course who could resist my charming godson litol Sef. Hee! Salamat Shano!
Come check out the whole set at Lith and Pieces and Shop With No Name

EDIT: Here’s a group photo I grabbed from Crisel’s blog! Yes, I had make up on and it’s done by Kat.
