this site. I’m not so much into fashion, I’m not even updated. I might mislead you, but fashion isn’t all there is in her blog. I just love reading her posts about everything in general. :D

Some Enchanted Evening

I suddenly remembered why I love watching theater plays. It’s like watching a concert, it’s live and it’s raw and so animated. My family and I watched the last run of Cinderella at CCP. I was excited because it’s been four years since the last play I saw. I always check play schedules but my plans to watch always end up there. We arrived ahead of time and strolled around the venue. Lots of people came to see the last show.

This exhibit caught our curiosity so my mom and I approached the interesting assembled pieces (made of what appears to be junk stuff) by the wall. I totally forgot to note down the exhibit details, unfortunately.

After a few minute we lined up to get into the balcony. I also purchased these cute binoculars so I could see better. I took the photo at the empty seat beside me which was supposed to be Mark’s but he wasn’t able to come because of an ongoing project.

The view from the balcony’s not that bad, really. Here’s my view of the stage.

The show ran for about three hours and I love every magical minute of it! I love musicals in general. I also like watching theater actors because of the exaggerated gestures they project to the audience. My mom was raving afterwards she was really looking forward to seeing this play.

I really hope I could see more plays next time.

This, for me, is a real profession of immense love and fate. A true story.

The son asked his father, ‘Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?’. The father who, despite having a heart condition, says ‘Yes’. They went on to complete the marathon together.

Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying ‘Yes’ to his son’s request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, ‘Dad, let’s join the Ironman together.’ To which, his father said ‘Yes’ too.

For those who don’t know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island Father and son went on to complete the race together…

I’m not feeling so good today. I think I’m going to catch a big cold and I’m a little dizzy. I actually just want to put all these random thoughts on a piece of net space so I’d feel a little relaxed so now, here I am jabbering away.

Okay, I sort of anticipated the the last installment of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga. I actually feel a little (just a little) embarrased reading her novels because I think it’s too “teen” for me. Growing up is inevitable, you know. Maybe it’s just me or maybe the book’s just so… uh, I don’t even know how to describe it. A phrase that’s probably a little related to my thoughts would be too surreally syrupy sweet. Or maybe I’m just exaggerating. Pardon me because there’s also a hapless romantic inside of this little nutshell that is me. I just have too many maybes about it right now. The pit bottom of all these, I have this weird thirst for blood, joking! I like vampires—yes, a boring and perennial reason, everyone.

Then lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of HDR on the net and I was intrigued so I downloaded a software called Photomatix Pro and tried it out. I have to say that I like those kind of sharp dreamy-like photos. This tutorial is really tons of help. Just want to share with you what I had come up with….

Tada!

nothing spectaculah, really! hahaha!

Apart from my little experiment, I also came up with a promo for one of our company’s products. For the nth time, it really sucks that I don’t get to win those HK disneyland package prize. But, so much for my ranting, here’s the little layout i made. :D

That’s it. I’m done. Happy weekend, everyone! :D

Like a Sappy Old Movie

Recently, getting married is like the “in” thing in my circle of friends. Being the very hopeless romantic that I am, I get all excited and in my most “awww” mood. I even got teary-eyed when I received this text from a friend telling me that she’s getting married. Yes, I can go overboard, ladies and gentlemen. So, anyhoo,  I try to help in my spare time looking for whatever it is they want help with. I’m not very knowledgeable with wedding stuffs but the internet’s my friend. Enough of my sappy intro. Off we go to another sappy story. I was looking at this wedding site, and saw an article about Jiggy Manicad (you might find him familiar because he’s a GMA newsman) getting married. I got curious with their onsite video. here it is!

It’s cheesy I know, but I’m in the mood. :D
